recommendable and accurate one of my favorite apps

I love this app, it has everything I was looking for! Though it comes with ESV, you have the option to buy a NASB version... which I did. Unfortunately all the cross references etc only apply on the ESV and were not put into the NASB. I hope this is fixed so I can give this app the 5 stars it deserves--as of right now, I should have kept with YouBible (as it is free), because I cant access the apps features outside of ESV anyway :P

Let me rephrase: leaving the daily bible section shouldnt advance you to the next chapter when you return. Considering the only way to go backwards is to enter the configuration. Let us only advance when we click a button, and allow us to go backwards!!

This is the best Bible app available. I use it everyday for devotional reading and study. As a pastor, it is my first (but not only) place to go for sermon prep and teaching prep. The Study notes are invaluable. I am wondering though, when this app will be updated to the newer version of the print Reformation Study Bible that came out 18 months ago? I know that many more study notes were added. I also know there are other Bible versions available. It would be wonderful if the app could be updated to include these. I sure hope you are working on it! Thanks!

I cant say enough good things about this app. It is worth every penny and more. I use it every day.

Certainly the content of the app justifies the cost! Its a wonderful resource. I do wish, however, that more had been done to increase the aesthetics of the app, both its icon and its interface. Whoever Ligonier normally outsourced to seems to put a great deal more in to designing than AcroDesign does, unfortunately.

I love this reformation study bible. In church, I can read along with my preacher. There is absolutely no problems with this bible! God is our only God, and he gives us strength!

My husband is in Seminary and this is the best tool any pastor, student and everyone else could ask for. The extensive cross refrencing, study instruction, information is amazing!I have learned so much and it is by far the best deal I have ever seen. You get the bible, the research and cross reference information, and tons more. You will not ever find a better deal and now that its universal, well, I couldnt be happier! Thank you for an amazing gift, we love this app!

This is my favorite all-around bible app. It has everything you really need (excellent highlighting, inline notes [like this], Greek NT with basic parsing info, Eastons Dictionary, Spurgeons Daily JFB commentaries). Comes with ESV but NASB/NIV/NKJV are only $5 each. Probably my favorite feature is the excellent study notes, and how easily they are accessed with one tap. If I could only have one bible app, this would be it. Other apps are good for certain things (YouVersion: Devotionals, ESV Audio; Bible.Is: Dramatized ESV Audio Devotionals; PocketSword: Everything from Public Domain - Luther & Calvins commentaries, Greek Bibles, etc), but the RSB is amazingly complete and well-worth $9.99. Consider how expensive Mantis and Glo are (RSB is a $19.99 addon for Mantis). Get it now!!!!!

Great resources but badly need retina display support for app icon and all UI icons in the next update. Especially the Home icon, much prefer a sharp corners non-bubbly look. The brown verses popup buttons also need to match the changed color scheme.

If you go into setting under program settings you can change the font size to large font.

I love this Bible app!! The study notes are well done, its easy to go back and forth on study note references. Its quick and easy to get to the passage of Scripture I want at anytime. I love the daily reading plan and how it keeps up with where Im at. Theres only a few things Id like to see added/changed. Itd be nice to have a few choices in the Bible reading plan-choices in plans or ability to read in a shorter time, ability to correct your "progress" (Ive not finished where I am sometimes and b/c I was there, it thought I had, etc). The thing Id most like to see is a notification for my daily reading. Maybe a time I could set when a notification would be sent for "read your Bible" ;-) The notification for daily Bible reading would be GREAT!!!!

First of all, I have this version in print already, but the app allows mobile and easy access to the bible. The reformed perspective is obviously the initial draw to this app, but the ease of use and enormous volume of resources within the app make it a real bargain at $9.99. I have already started my own "margin notes" for a study group meeting this very evening. The design and logical aspects of the app are very helpful to me. I would encourage anyone who is a devotee of Reformed Theology (even with its human frailties) to buy this app. It is truly a five-starr tool!

I wouldnt know what to do with a hard copy this app is so instrumental in my studies. Rc. Sproul and the bunch really did their homework. Great resource!!

Would be nice if there was an array of font sizes other than standard and large print.

Enjoyed this app until I began trying to create notes. Now the app frequently crashes when I try to open many of the notes I previously created. Im thinking of ditching this app because I cannot access many of the notes I previously created.

This is an excellent resource for a non scholar that wants to feel like one! Simple yet complex enough to really give one great insight.

Notes and highlighting are tough to impossible to do on some verses, like the ones at the end of a chapter. Dont make things worse, make them better.
