The Reformation Study Bible App Reviews

Like others I had to restore my reformation study bible by deleting it and reinstalling. Now I cant get my previously purchased bibles. About $20 worth. I went to the web developer site and see they are working on the ability to do this. When is it going to happen? Ill up the stars when it does. Not until. Good app otherwise.

This update could have been great. Things I dont like: it looks second rate all around. I like how they tried for the iOS 7/8 look. But they just didnt do to well here. Also, why is the app title now acrobibe? Other then that. This is the Best Bible/Commentary/Bible Dictionary there is out there. Worth every penny spent, please go out and by this. You will not be disappointed, not only do you get the reformation Study Bible, you also are open to free downloads of commentaries, dictionaries and other versions of the bible, plus with the bible sync you can keep all the data up in the cloud.

Content still good, but yikes, the UI is hideous! Last update was much more polished looking. And "AcroBible" is a terrible name for the app, unless youre an acrobat. . .

I received and upgrade and it created an issue for my daily reader. I commented and the software team corrected it in one day. Unheard of in the software industry. Incredibly the best Bible software on the market and excellent customer service! I recommend this program to any Bible teacher or student.

This is by far the best app purchase Ive made. This app comes not only with the study notes and articles, but JFB Commentary, Mathew Henrys Concise Commentary, Eastons Dictionary, with entries highlighted within a verse. Strongs Hebrew and Greek are both available as free add ons. For a serious student of scripture, this app is a definite plus.

Voiceover could not read the Bible text nor Bible notes. App is completely useless to me.

Good app but I wish it was available for Family Share. Thats my fault for not paying closer attention to the specs.

I would be lost w/o this app. I have the brand new version of the printed version (it just arrived today), plus I use this app on iPhone & iPad. So I always have Scripture to read or verses to look up with me at every moment. The articles are easy to find in case I need to show them to someone or refer to them. I just wish I could highlight portions of a verse or a single key word. Highlight only works for the entire verse. Sometimes I want to draw my eye to certain key topical words in an entire passage. Maybe the next version will have it.

Dont write many reviews - love the Bible - but after spending 2 1/2 hours with my spouse setting up her new phone I finally researched shareable apps. You cannot share this app in your household - so expect to pay for every single family member. Guess well be going with FaithLife Study Bible... :-/

This has been my best app, used every day. The ease of use is wonderful. *I, too, would love to be able to highlight a single word or phrase instead of just a whole verse. *Will there be an update to include the newly reworked edition of the Reformation Study Bible? The app makers are great with help, also. *No updates since November, 2014. ?????

Love the available resources, the ease of use, and small file size. Patiently awaiting the ability to highlight individual words (right now one can only highlight an entire verse)--so that key words (verbs, conjunctions, etc.) can be see while reading; and to make use of the built in iPhone. Give God all the glory :-)

Was very disappointed that it did not come with the notes in the printed edition by RC Sproul. Its basically just another Bible app.

I have used this app regularly for a couple of years now. It is a great tool for Bible study and small group study preparation. The notes are easy to use and display, and the cross referencing is particularly well done. It is easy to jump to highlighted cross-reference text and then come back where you were originally. The app has been a pleasure to use.
